दून में नवंबर माह में 18 आयु वर्ष के 21295 मतदाता निर्वाचक नामावली में जोड़े गए
देहरादून। जिला निर्वाचन कार्यालय में जनपद के गैर सरकारी संगठन शिक्षाविद एवं नागरिक समितियों के पदाधिकारियों के साथ स्वच्छ एवं नैतिक मतदान के संबंध में सहायक जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी पी.एस. रावत की अध्यक्षता में बैठक सम्पन्न हुई। बैठक में जानकारी देते हुए अवगत कराया गया कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशानुसार फोटोयुक्त विधान सभा निर्वाचक नामावली में 01 जनवरी 2022 को 18 वर्ष या इससे अधिक आयु पूर्ण करने वाले भारतीय नागरिकों के नाम सम्मिलित करने हेतु 1 नवम्बर से 30 नवम्बर तक विशेष अभियान चलाकर कार्यक्रम चलाया गया। इस दौरान 18 वर्ष की आयु वाले 21295 तथा 19 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के 43236 नागरिकों के नाम निर्वाचक नामावली में जोड़े गए हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि इस बार 80 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के साथ ही दिव्यांगजनों को घर पर ही मतदान करने हेतु डाक मतपत्र प्रेषित किए जाएंगे। बैठक में जानकारी देते हुए अवगत कराया गया कि वोटर हेल्पलाईन एप के माध्यम से अभी भी छूटे नागरिक ऑनलाइन अपना नाम दर्ज करा सकते है। उन्होंने बताया कि 18-19 आयु वर्ग एवं महिलाओं के नाम मतदाता सूची में अधिक से अधिक सम्मिलित करवाये जाएं, उन्होंने बताया कि अभी भी 52 हजार से अधिक छूटे मतदाताओं को निर्वाचक नामावली में जोड़े जाने के प्रयास किया जाएगा।
बैठक में वोटर हेल्पलाईन के संबंध में जानकारी दी गई तथा निर्वाचन संबंधित किसी भी जानकारी के लिए टोल फ्री न. 1950 पर सम्पर्क किया जा सकता है। बैठक में बताया कि 31 अक्टूबर 2021 तक जनपद की 10 विधानसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में कुल 1873 मतदेय स्थलों के सापेक्ष 14,08,448 मतदाता है जिनमें 7,42,791 पुरूष, 6,65,593 महिला व 60 अन्य तथा 9807 सर्विस मतदाता है। बैठक में उपस्थित पदाधिकारियों द्वारा निर्वाचक नामावली में अधिक से अधिक लोगों के नाम सम्मिलित करने पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। बैठक में कार्तिक विश्नोई, आशिष अहमद संजीव कुमार, कुसुम घिल्डियाल, सुनीता जे.एस असवाल, आशु अरोड़ा, विजय शर्मा आदि उपस्थित रहे।
