भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान रुड़की ने मनाया राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस

रुड़की। भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान द्वारा सात स्थानीय विद्यालयों के लिए अंतर्विद्यालयी ऑनलाइन विज्ञान प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया था, जिसमें ग्रीनवे मॉडर्न सीनियर सेकंडरी विद्यालय, रुड़की ने प्रथम पुरुस्कार जीता। संस्थान ने 20 फरवरी को ऑनलाइन वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया था, जिसमें कुल छः विद्यालयों ने दो अलग अलग क्षेणियों में भाग लिया था। (प्रथम श्रेणी कक्षा नौवीं से बारहवंीं तक), (द्वितीय श्रेणी कक्षा छठवीं से आठवीं तक), प्रथम क्षेणी के अंतर्गत केन्द्रीय विद्यालय 1, रुड़की ने प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया व द्वितीय क्षेणी में सर्वज्ञ सीनियर सेकंडरी विद्यालय ने प्रथम पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया।
विज्ञान दिवस पर रविवार को सायं आई.आई.टी. रुड़की द्वारा एक ऑनलाइन संस्थान व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया। डीन, अकादमिक कार्य, प्रोफेसर. एन.पी.पाधी ने दर्शकों का स्वागत किया और रुड़की के सभी विद्यालयों को उनकी शानदार भागीदारी के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। आई.आई.टी.रुड़की के निदेशक प्रोफेसर अजीत कुमार चतुर्वेदी ने विज्ञान दिवस के महत्व पर श्रोताओं को संबोधित किया। मुख्य अतिथि, प्रोफेसर राजीव लक्ष्मण करंदीकर, निदेशक, चेन्नई गणित संस्थान द्वारा ऑनलाइन मंच पर वार्षिक विज्ञान दिवस व्याख्यान प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसका विषय था ‘बिग डाटा एनालिटिक्स, डाटा विज्ञान के युग में सांख्यिकी की भूमिका’।
समारोह का समापन धन्यवाद द्वारा किया गया। आई.आई.टी. रुड़की के सदस्य, छात्र व विद्यालयी बच्चों ने इसमें भाग लिया।
